It looks like John Kerry found a soccerball of mass destruction.

This Connecticut insider multi-millionaire who is posing as a Texas cowboy (and can't even ride a horse so he needs to ride around his "ranch" in a Humvee) supports your "values". This former cokehead, c-student, and military service-dodger claims that he believes in Jesus, so, that makes it okey-dokey to overlook what is essentially a criminal administration.

John Kerry actually went to war. It was called Viet Nam, kiddies, and it was another catastrophic mistake in judgement. But John Kerry, who was rich and privledged and connected and went to Yale (just like this "president"..although I believe that Kerry actually went to classes) had every opportunity to avoid the war in Viet Nam. But he went. He chose to go. He put his life on the line for your country. While George W. Bush took a cushy National Guard post (that he couldn't even commit to) far, far away from any sort of combat.
But Bush calls himself a leader and has the nerve to criticize John Kerry's war record. The only war that Kennebunkport George junior has seen is on television.
So that is pretty much what Fox news (owned by multi-billionaire Rupert Murdoch who is incidentally NOT an American but still pitching in for the cause because he knows that he'll get billionaire tax breaks from the Cheney ..er.. Bush administration) The New York Post etc.. have left to do. Try to discredit John Kerry and the democractic party and get the attention off of George Bush's miserable failure.

That'll keep the American people from wondering, just for a second, why D*ck Cheney's former company, Halliburton was given, with NO COMPETITION, a contract to tap the oil-wells in IRAQ!!!

In what is probably the scariest thing I've heard since 9/11, Rumsfeld and co. have lost track of 380 tons of highly explosive material. Nobody knows where it went! That is not gonna help us finish off the occupation very well.
I figure that would have been a good area to secure but I guess no one thought of that.
380 tons is a lot. It will now likely be used against our troops and the "new Iraqi government". A total disaster from our "intelligence department".

MN, that is a rehash of a news article from May last year.

The truth as reported by NBC Nightly News was that the Weapons Inspectors visited there a few weeks before the war started, and put labels on the doors stating that they inspected it. They had found the stuff in there. A week before the war, they stopped back and saw that the labels were still there so they went on to other places.

We went through during the war. Then, when we didn't have to focus on the combat, we returned to the place and found it gone.

First, after the inspectors labelled the doors, what's to say Saddam didn't move the stuff out the back door? "OH LOOK! IT'S A GOODYEAR BLIMP!" "MADE YOU LOOK!"

They should have destroyed it or moved it all to a U.S. controlled safe house so that it couldn't be stolen while left unattended.
380 tons of explosives people. This kind of Bush leadership is getting dangerous. While they were busy securing the oil-fields for Halliburton, the Iraqi rebel insurgents were loading up with extremely volatile materials (to use against our brave troops) that we KNEW existed but failed to secure.
It's a debacle. And Bush needs to be held accountable.

You think they moved it out in back packs in the middle of the night?

If they moved it out while we invaded, we would have taken them out as target practice for the A-10 Warthog. It would take at least 150 trucks, or 50 semis, or 7600 backpacks (380 * 2000 / 100lbs per back pack).

"Hey, Sarge, why are there 7600 people carrying backpacks out of that Bat Cave over there?"

COME ON! It is OBVIOUS to any non-conspiracy-monger that it didn't happen during the U. S. Army's watch. Are you going to tell me next that George Bush was the second shooter on the grassy knoll..."Hey, he knew someday, he would be governor and knew it would be good for tourism."

It will all be over in a week. Now who is tired after this election year there has been mud slinging on both sides for about a year now. I will be so happy to be able to here the voices in my head again.
