Re: toshiba 56HM66 wont hold settings

Hello,
Depending on the setting and inputs, does this happen globally? that is, if you adjust the bass/treb on the cable, does it change when moved to DVD?

Hello,
After looking at the video and reading your explanation I have to suggest you try a new ballast! How many times have you replaced the Lamp? I am almost certain replacing your ballast will have your TV up and running ;)

Re: Wavy lines and smears in picture

Hello, I think we spoke on a different discussion! ;)

If this seems to be happening on all inputs, I am leaning more towards this being an issue with your DMD board. Yet if those green blotches are gone, this can simply be an issue with your Digital video board..

Hello, It sounds like this is a textbook ballast issue, I am sure you can replace it yourself. How long have you had this RPTV? If there was never any discoloration or distortion on your screen then I would suggest you try a new ballast!

Re: Sony KDF/50WE655 LCD Projection blue color

Hello! Yes actually, the lamp in RPTVs does not emit color, it shine pure white light, any color distortion in this Sony LCD projection TV would come from the optical block, like say a burnt out LCD chip (it has 3 Red, Green & Blue) unfortunately this mostly and surely implies that you need a new op...

hello!
