Hello, Right off the bat it would seem that since you tested both Analog and Digital inputs, the main input board is either malfunctioning or a connecting point/cable is bad. Either way the best way to resolve it I think, would be to replace the main input board.. I hope this helps or others chime i...

Hi, I want to say it is a medium difficulty, if you are handy taking stuff apart this will be a good time because everything is bolt, plug and play, nothing to solder. Hi Steve, If the lamp is really old it might just show signs of wear, one cannot test these for continuity because they have none.. Now the lamp can be shattered inside the filament.. The balast generates about 5-15kV ignition charge so I would not take a multi meter to it!!! but if you have had the...

Re: Blue Tint To Images and Text

This TV might be LCD RPTV, let me check if so one of the LED lens (red, blue and green) might be burned out, this happens with time, and it is more noticeable when a new lamp is installed.

DLP RPTVs have a colorwheel, that is consumable , they sell it and is replaceable.

Hi,

I do not think there is a way to test the lamp outside the TV without a proper safe bench workstation and the corresponding ballast. Keep in mind the ignition jolt is 5-20kV!

Taking a multimeter, as proposed, will render a false result because of the arch gap in the uhp chamber..
