The old Phillips bulb says 100W 1.0. The new OSRAM bulb says 100-120/1.3. Looks like the OSRAM has a 1.3 gap vs the Phillips 1.0 gap? After removing the new bulb and looking at it there definitely seems to be something wrong with it. The glass stem that has the filament inside is no longer straight ...

There must be something else wrong. It's unwatchable. Makes my eyes hurt trying to watch it.

The new bulb is an OSRAM. I ordered the bulb from DLPLampsource. They claim it is an OEM bulb.
I did try to adjust the brightness but it still didn't look right. No where near as bright as the old 5 yr old bulb.

I have a Samsung HL-P5063W, bulb code BP96-00608A(P). The set is about 5 yrs old and we lost the bulb a few days ago. I ordered a new bulb (no housing) and installed it in the old housing. When I was taking the old bulb out, I first loosened the wrong screws, which I think have something to do with ...
