Re: Found cause for bad analog boards?
UPDATE after several days of moderate use: So far, so good...the one time that I forgot to switch it to S-video before turning the TV off, the Board really wanted to "go bad" when I turned it back on (the picture flashed and flickered). Almost certain there is a direct correlation to Dish Network + ...

Found cause for bad analog boards?
Ive been going through Analog boards on my Samsung DLP HLR4667 shortly after I moved in with a buddy. He has DISH NETWORK (digital/NON-HD) in which there is a duel receiver -- 1 receiver operates both TVs. Mine is the 2nd TV, but since its operated remotely in a 2nd room, I have to use the Antenna I...

changed analog board-->now no sound/imput sources
After changing a shattered colorwheel, I immediately started have another problem: I started having the usual problem that many of you had on my Samsung HLR4667...the intermittent problem of green/pink/white horizontal (or vertical-depending on how you look at it) lines across the screen on my anten...

Re: After colorwheel, now green/pink horizontal li
Thanks once again "NEhelp" as you assisted me with the colorwheel issue in the past too! I just order the analog board from DM. In your opinion, how difficult is it to replace this board? (If I was able to do the colorwheel myself, should I be able to change the board too?) Do you know of any troubl...

After colorwheel, now green/pink horizontal lines
I have a Samsung HLR-4667 DLP in which I changed out a shattered Colorwheel. After doing so, it almost immediately (after 2nd turn on) displayed green vertical lines. However, they immediately went away after I unplugged the TV from the outlet...only to come back again after several (10 or so) more ...

Re: replaced colorwheel, but now won't stay on
You're absolutely correct when it came to the switch! For whatever reason, after being screwed in, the panel didn't want to fully trip the switch...a small piece of electrical tape did the trick. Thanks "NEhelp"; not just for my post, but for all others you'd help (while researching my problem, I no...

replaced colorwheel, but now won't stay on
I have a samsung hlr4667 dlp for 3 years now. I replaced a shattered colorwheel with the housing myself. After trying to fire it up, it would come on for 5 seconds (picture looked good/no unusual noises), then it shuts itself off (the chime sounded a little weird when it did so--not sure if that mat...
