I'm going to pull the analog board and check all the capacitors [ I suspect a bad cap ] - I won't be doing this any time soon, but when I do I'll post the results. Thanks for your help!

If the digital board or the DMD were bad, wouldn't the LINES be in the component picture also?

This TV doesn't have HDMI inputs - This is an early model 2004 - Component inputs are clean - Have no way of taking a picture of problem Diagonal lines float thru pix - Sometimes up the screen and sometimes down the screen. They are diagonal lines that float thru the pix only on analog inputs. They start out large and get smaller as the TV warms up. Sometimes they are stationary and other times they drift up or down thru the pix. I was thinking it must be something common to all analog inputs - Like a power supply prob...
