Open the rear of your TV, check your power board for swelled capacitor tops.

I understand Samsung had bad batches of capacitors installed on their power boards some years ago.

The board is a relatively inexpensive replacement.

Look for this on Youtube, many videos made on the subject

Because your post is a month old, I'm assuming you've repaired it by now. Samsungs in those years (on the LCDs, I'm assuming the DLPs are similar) had a bad batch of capacitors that got built into their power boards.
