Re: Replaced lamp on 50 inch Samsung still turns off
Have you cleaned the inside of your TV? Is it still filled with dust? If so then I would start there, you see many parts tend to overheat when there is a lot of dust. so when the sensors on the TV detect an excessive temperature reading, it will shut the TV off automatically (for safety reasons). Go...

Re: DLP buzzibg (humming)
That sounds like your speakers are starting to kick the bucket. The ballast is unaffected buy the remote since it’s the board that regulates power to the lamp.
Try increasing the volume on the tv, if the buzzing gets louder, then its definitely the speakers.
Good luck.

What brand of lamp is inside your TV? Normally Philips last between 6000+ hours & OSRAM from 4000+ hours. So unless you have your TV on for lengthy periods your lamp should last you 2 years at least. If you have a generic brand then it’s probably time to change the lamp. When the picture on the TV i...

Re: WD-52327 Error code 34...Sometimes TV turns on
My personal suggestion is that you replace the ballast (the entire board). Since the only way to test the ballast is with a oscilloscope, I really don’t see another alternative. As far as my knowledge goes, there is only 3 parts that can prevent the TV from turning on. One is the lamp, another one is the ballast, and third is the color wheel. Well if it’s just a swollen capacitor you need to remove it and take it to a local electronics shop, and see if the have some spares you can buy. If you replace it and nothing happens then it might be a general board failure and you’ll have to buy a new one.
Good luck.
