Does nobody really know?
I'm not a DLP tech. I work in IT and am an engineer. I've used this forum for some time to help me on some side projects and I've posted several times with ZERO answers to my questions. Last question I asked was about a Sony DLP posted here: http://www.fixyourdlp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2138 T...

Re: RCA DLP Driving me nuts. Please help!
Sounds like a ballast issue. Does the bulb shut off completely?

Re: please help my gaming has come to a sudden STOP
I'm not a Zenith guy but I'd be checking a few things first, make sure the cooling fans are running, make sure you replaced the bulb with the correct bulb, if you still have the old bulb, bad or not, try swapping it out again. New bulb could be having issue with weak ballast. Did you reset your bulb...

Sony KDF-50E2000 red blur on top of screen (pics)
I recently acquired this DLP from craigslist to replace a Samsung HLM567WX that needed a DMD. I paid $200 for it but and noticed the picture was pretty dim so I purchased a new phillips bulb the next day. I replaced the bulb and everything seemed ok. I only noticed later that evening that the top 1"...

Re: HLN567WX no picture problems? Please look
I found the color wheel at PCparts for $103 and was unable to find anything at D-M but the bulbs and aux inputs. I still have not ordered the color wheel though. I'm curious to know what happens when the colorwheel shuts off the DMD, if anyone has seen one of these sets turn off the way mine does I'...

Re: HLN567WX no picture problems? Please look
Thanks alot for the reply. After reading your post I again tried to get the technician menu and was able to get in and successfully clear the lamp hours. Mine was at 6400. I hoped that this was going to be the magic fix and then shut down the set and let it sit for 15 minutes. I was able to start it...

Re: HLN567WX no picture problems? Please look
Just to follow up. After reading anything I could find on the model, I'm wondering if the color wheel could be the problem. Last night after posting, I tried it again and voila, it came on. I then turned it off and tried the Mute+8+2+1+power and was unable to get it to power on using this combinatio...
