Well i got a HL-n617 lamp not comming on at all, bulb is ok. Color wheel looks perfect. I took it out and it seems as tho it spins kind of stiff, so i took it out put it in another TV and it spins up fast, but really noisey. Is there any reason it would spin in 1 tv and not in the original? i know i...

Re: HLP5063W picture slightly off-kilter
all the big wires shouldn't be near the DMD board, but different models may have them close, btw i moved my DLP 6-7 times from houses, superbowl parties and all other things. When the board is locked down in should never move, my guess is they left it a bit loose from factory or something. Once lock...

Re: HLP5063W picture slightly off-kilter
I removed my dmd board and i had the same problem, if you loosen the screws holding the board to the lens assembly u can slightly push it around to "level" out the screen. (FYI its on a mirror so up is down and vise-versa) Then use (mute-1-8-2-power) and u can adjust total height in there. or just u...

Re: HL-R6167w No screen - no chime
I figured the analog board was like a PC where only 1 plug can go into 1 socket, but the analog board was nice enough to have a 4 pin plug that fits into 2 diffent sockets, from wire length i would assume it would go in the one further away but hey i throw it back together (again) with the 4 pin in ...

HL-R6167w No screen - no chime
Well, to begin this site has been great for troublshooting ideas, but i have a question to add. My DLP started the familiar green checkerboard behind the menus on cable input, and seemed to work fine on HDMI input, but i took the back off cleaned it up in there, put it all back together and ... Now ...
