Jerry..it's been a year so I hope you have it fixed... in case you dont... this is a common DLP LED problem. The problem si the power supply. Replace it for $130 or replace the blown caps on the board.. -- if you know what you are doing.

You do no need new LED's. This is a known problem with SAMSUNG LED DLP's. It's bad capacitors in the power supply. Replace the power supply it's about $130 bucks or if you have electronics experience, you can replace the caps.. they are about $2 a piece and you'll need 2-6 of them depending on how m...

JoelLeg.. you have a common problem with the samsung 5679 that is caused by the power supply and bad capacitors.
