When I turn the TV on, the LAMP LED flashes, then the set powers down, and then tries again to turn on. It sounds like the TV is trying to start up, but after a few seconds, it powers down and attemps to start up again. This appears to be exactly what my tv is doing. Did you ever determine what the problem was?
I have a new lamp ordered and on the way, hoping this takes care of it!
Did you find anything else wrong or did the new lamp fix your problem?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
