Re: Samsung Audio issue
Let me add that I have verified that the audio works perfectly when using not only Av3 but also when using the Wiselink with a thumb drive as well as the HDMI audio is perfect. What could be causing this issue?! Driving me bonkers! I have tried the audio using a DVD player as well as an old VHS play...

Re: Intermittent "Pop" sound accompanied by screen dim
So here is an update. I replaced the bulb, no fix. I replaced the Ballast board, no fix...... What is left?? So far I have replaced the Color wheel, Bulb, and Ballast. I think anything else is going to be costly. Update on the sound, it actually sounds more like a MASSIVE hard drive when it is makin...

Re: Intermittent "Pop" sound accompanied by screen dim

Intermittent "Pop" sound accompanied by screen dim

And then I heard some buzzing/grinding and figured that my color wheel just took a dive. I just so happened to have a rep...

Re: HL-S6187W intermitent Knocking sound
The tv still functions just fine and the color is normal. As my post stated, it will make this sound and once it shuts itself down, I can fire up the tv and it is working properly. Could this still be a color wheel issue?? Thanks!!

Hey there thanks in advance for any help on this!! As the subject line states, I own an approximately 5 year old Samsung HL-S6187W Dlp TV that just started having an intermittent problem.
