video of Ballst/lamp issue WD-65733
Lately my t.v has taken a little longer then usual turn on. Then yesterday it just wouldn't turn on at all, but it will play sounds. Here is a video of my t.v going through the process of attempting to turn on. Does the ballast look like it is properly working? And does that charging sound indicate ...

So I cleaned off all the dust. And still nothing.
I notice that when I press the reset button and attempt to turn on my tv that the lamp comes on. It lights up for a few seconds but does not turn on the screen. I can see the light from the lamps vent.

Have you tried to unplug the TV, wait a minute, plug it back and try turning it ON again? In mitsubishi's TVs after replacing the lamp and turning the unit back ON there should had been a message asking you if you replaced the lamp? Press ENT(er) for Yes or CANCEL for No. Yes. I also don't see a lamp timer. The screen will not turn on at all.
