SP46L5HX DLP Rear Projection

Post by stealth » Sat Jun 13, 2009 4:46 am

Hi there,

I have one of the above TV's and i started to get a brown tinge on the screen and upon further investigation I found 3 glass panels inside just in front of each colour LCD that looked like they have some sort of tint on them. The RED one looks like its been burnt in the exact shape of the area on the screen thats affected. My question is what are these glass tint things called and where do I buy one from? I cant find any information anywhere about it :(

Many Thanks

you need to buy the light engine for your TV.
:D

the optical block is not sold separately. Check on Discount Merchant maybe they have it in-stock

Hi stealth.

The part number is usually located in a label that has a bar code. Normally you can look for parts by model at:
http://www.samsungparts.com/. But unfortunetely they don't show anything for your model number...
