HLR4266WX/XAA picture flickering
The picture flickers a lot and it has lines running across the screen that are pinkish in color half way down screen.
Can I fix it myself or do I have to take it in?

Do these lines appear over the tv menu too?

Yes they seem to cross the menu too.

Ok, then you need to replace the DMD board. If you're handy replace it by yourself, just need to know where is the light engine located, you can see it here: http://guides.fixyourdlp.com/samsung/bp96-01579a.php. This is a color wheel replacement guide, but you can see there how to take the light engine apart.
Hope this helps.

Well, at D-M they're for $179.99: http://www.discount-merchant.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=samsung+dmd+board
You just need to look for the one that matches with your model.

Re: HLR4266WX/XAA picture flickering
Is the info for the board I need on the TV somewhere?
Re: HLR4266WX/XAA picture flickering
You need to take the part number from the actual board. Sometimes is possible to find it by the TV model, but sometimes they just have the part number of the board.
