I just replace the lamp in my 50 dlp rca scenium and the image still darker than before.

There are a few possibilities.
What is the wattage and gap of your old bulb?
What is the wattage and gap of your new bulb?
What is the wattage of the ballast?
does the wattage of the ballast match with the new bulb?
Have checked if is there any dust on the lens?
What is the wattage and gap of your old bulb?
