I have a Samsung DLP, model # HLN4365W that has just started to make this annoying high pitched sound. I thought is was a cooling fan going out but reading here its sounds like it may be this thing called a
"color wheel"
Is there anyway for me to verify this? I took off the back panel I can see that both fans are working and the noise is not coming from either fan. Its seems to be connected to the light or bulb.
As you can probably tell by now I'm am not a TV or electronics repair person.
If it is a color wheel is this something a do it yourself person can handle?
Thanks,
Jerry

Thank you for responding.
The instructions are not for my model but I'm assuming the process is similar.
