Samsung HLR6168 Lamp Replacement
My Samsung tv uses a BP96-01073a lamp. I mistakenly ordered a BP96-00826a lamp and housing (must have been having a bad day). Obviously, the new housing does not fit my tv, but can I switch the bulb from the new 00826a and use it to replace the burned out bulb in my 01073a housing?

Yup, you should be fine...they both use the Philips E22 100/120 1.0 UHP lamp. Replacing then would be fine. From my understanding, the BP96-00826A and the BP96-01073A are VERY similar in design...did you try to see if the enclosure fits?
