Model HLN4365w Picture Quality
My Samsung DLP has started having black lines through the picture. I called my local repair person and without seeing the TV, they said it would cost more to repair it than to replace it. Can anyone give me any different answers? It has been a great TV. Original bulb. Could something have been jarred loose when I relocated the TV? It was fine until then.

Wow either that technician has psychic powers or he’s a total lazy fraud.
Let’s start with the basics, are those lines appearing when you watch TV? (cable, dish or air).
How about when you hook up a Blue ray, new game counsel? (HDMI or digital device)
Do they also show up when you connect a older DVD player or VHS? (red, yellow & white cables)
Do you hear any strange noises coming from the back of the TV?
Can you take a picture or describe in detail those lines that you see?

Re: Model HLN4365w Picture Quality
Hello,
I am having the same exact problem. There are horizontal lines (about 9-10 of them) on the screen and there are black dots on the bottom and top of the screen. I will try to get a picture and port it here. My TV model is HLS4266WX / XAA
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
