Hello,
I'm not sure if I posted this correctly or not so here goes.
I have a HL-R4667W. Two weeks ago the picture started to freeze, the sound would continue to play, then it shuts off and restarts on it's own. Now it will not turn on at all. The HDMI is the only input that was working. I replaced the bulb and ballast November 2008. Should I repair or go shopping for a new TV?
Thanks for the reply

Re: HL-R4667W freezes, sound works, shuts off
Well... you could check your lamp, you're probably due for a new one by now. after the fist lamp replacement they tend to last a bit less, but since you have a fairly new ballast. I'd say if you need to only replace the lamp it'll be worth it to keep it.
Re: HL-R4667W freezes, sound works, shuts off
this set is known for digital board issues. from what your saying your issues are it may need the solder reflowed. a guy on ebay offers repairs of digital boards. please see. http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/samsung/ there is a link there for the reflow.
