COLOR WHEEL WONT SPIN
REPLACED LAMP AND COLOR WHEEL NOW TV WONT TURN ON AT ALL. HLS5686W IS MODEL NUMBER, LIGHT ENGINE DOES NOT HAVE JUMPER TO SET EITHER... BOTH ITEMS ARE NEW NOT USED, NEW TO DLP REPAIR. I CAN FORCE THE BALLAST TO FIRE THE LAMP SO I KNOW THATS GOOD BUT WHEEL WONT SPIN,DOES BALLAST CONTROL THAT AS WELL WITH SIGNAL? IF SO MORE THAN LIKELY BALLAST HAS NOW GONE BAD? FIND THAT HARD TO BELIEVE BUT OK??? PLEASE HELP!!!!

I'm sorry, did you mean the colorwheel is new too??? if so then there might be an issue with your DMD board, that send the signal to the color wheel, not the ballast.
