Hello All
Samsung DLP 61 Inch, HLN617W1X/XAA Service Model Number.
May 2004 manufactured.
Since owning it at times I would hear it start up and it would fail to produce a picture. Do hear a loud buzzing noise and something starting and stopping. Bulb does not turn on until something gives it the OK.
Well now it does not turn on at all. I hear the buzzing noise and something cycling on and off until it errors out completely.
From other readings on the Web it sounds like it may be my Color Wheel.
What do you all think?

ok the issue may depend on the type of buzzing sound that you get!
if it sounds more like a mechanical screeching sound you may have an issue with the color wheel in your tv
if you more like an electrical surge sound you might have a problem with the Ballast (the board that powers the lamp)
