So I successfully replaced the color wheel and everything appears to be working fine with the exception that there are certain blurry spots or glare even. To explain it somewhat better in certain lighting a person's face may have a few different tones that looks sort of blurry. Hope that explanation helps. I've played around with a few picture settings but still doesn't work. Any ideas?

It is possible that the color wheel you received was flawed, but the more likely cause is that there are fingerprints or dust on the color wheel or one of the many lenses inside the projector. Put on some powder-less rubber gloves, take the TV back apart, and clean the glass of the color wheel with distilled water by spraying the distilled water on a clean microfiber cloth and wiping down the wheel. Make sure you don't leave any water on the wheel, or let any get into the motor. DO NOT put any liquid directly on the color wheel, always apply it to the cloth first, and from there to the wheel. DO NOT use Windex, this has a great potential to damage either the color wheel, or the motor, where the distilled water, if it DOES get into the motor, won't cause any damage. Clean any other lenses that may have been exposed when gaining access to the color wheel. Put it all back together, and if all goes well, your TV should be back to 100%!

with some color wheels you have to remove or put a jumpers on the dmd board. check with your color wheel if it wants you to do anything like that. Do a part number search on google and jumper to see if anything comes up.
