Vizio E371VA 37" LCD

Just added a 37" Vizio E371VA 120hz LCD TV to our home.
I have two issues that I don't like about it. Firstly, the Vizio logo on the front stays on (dimmed), when the TV is off. In this day and ago of energy consumption, it makes no sense to me that Vizio would create an energy vampire. Secondly, I noticed audio/lip sync issues at times. One minor issue is that the TV fluorescent backlight interferes with my Tivo remote signal. This is apparently common with all fluorescent TV's and devices using IR remotes. One reason I guess to get an LED TV instead.
Overall for the price, it's not a bad TV though.
