After one year of use, the screen started to display 6 horizontal black lines on the screen. The lines are very thin, measuring approximately a distance of 4 inches in from each other and are prominent during cold start-up for around an hour and will dissipate in the center of the screen. the lines will never completely dissappear. For now I can deal with it, but would like to know what I will need to change out. I work in the electronics field and fix my own equipment so if you are able to be technical on the subject please do. If you advise a part, could you provide a part number? Model HLS4666W
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Samsung Black Horizontal Lines
Hi Dan,
Your problem seems to be the DMD board. Display the TV menu, if the lines appear on the menu too then your DMD board is malfunctioning. If the lines doesn't show on the menu then the problem could be your digital board, check another input just to discard the analog board.

Re: Samsung Black Horizontal Lines
This issue appears with menu and on different inputs. With that said, I would assume the DMD board based on your comments. If this is the case could you provide a part number and possibly what I could be looking at cost wise? Thanks. Dan
