I have a samsung HLS4266w I bought it over 2 years ago. I know I should get a new one but not right now. My problem is the tv would turn off by itself after a few minutes but would also work the whole day when it feels like it.what I noticed is when the tv is unplugged for a couple of hours then I turn it on, it would work properly.has anyone had the same problem about thier tv?I am not sure if it is the bulb or simply a power issue. although the green lamp flashes when I turn the tv on after shutting down.

Check if the ventilation hole on the rear of the set is blocked, it could be that the inner temperature is too high. Clean also the fans. This usually solves the problem.

The lamp LED blinking just means that the picture will appear in 15 seconds.

If the problem persists get back to me.
