HL-S5086W...3 Blinking Lights of Death

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Been researching through the forums, but have not seen anything similiar to my problem. Obviously, have the three blinking lights which could mean several things.
I have replaced the lamp and reset the lamp meter, but still have following issue:
Once i turn tv on, everything appears to work fine. Colorwheel spins, both fans on, lamp ignites and screen looks perfect.
After about 5 minutes, lamp blinks once and power shuts down, and the 3 blinking lights of death resume.
I have ordered a DMD board, but now thinking it could be the ballast or temperature sensor based on some of the posts here...
Has anyone had an experience like this?
Thanks

It could be the lamp. You may have gotten a bad one. I would send it back for an exchange before doing anything else.

cnrob1,
What happens if you try to turn the TV ON just after it turns itself off? Any noises?
I think this is an overheating issue, check the fans and air vents for dust.

When you open the back door and take out the lamp assembly, the temp sensor is located above, embedded to the light engine assembly.
