shadow line

my samsung dlp tv ,model hlr4266w has a shadow line running dow the left side of screen about 2 inches wide, what part do i need to fix this and do you have one?

Does your TV looks one of this???
If it looks like the one on the top, like a shadow/discoloration, Is going to be a problem with the color wheel.
If it look like the 2nd picture, like a LINE across the screen, that's a problem with the DMD board.
...also, is your TV doing any weird noises or something like that?

I seem to have the same issue as Maymoon, shadow line about 2 inches along left edge of screen, from top to bottom. Looks nothing like examples shown. TV is overall quite viewable. TV image shows through gray shadow line. Any thoughts on what the problem might be and how to fix it would be welcome. Thanks.

Oh, it's a HLR5678W, about three years old.
