When I turn on my tv on an HD channel, the picture is great. After a few seconds, the image will freeze for about 10 seconds, then the picture goes black. This cycle repeats itself, all while the audio continues flawlessly.
I can not operate the tv while the screen is frozen or black.
I have found that if I turn the tv off after a cycle or two, and unplug the tv at the back of the machine, then plug it back in and turn the tv on, the machine works great and all the HD channels are functioning properly (like the problem is solved).
If, at any point, I change to a non-HD channel, the picture gets black/white and very fuzzy with a green bar at the top of the screen. I can not turn off the tv from a non-HD channel. I have to change back to an HD channel first.
Any thoughts? Where do I start. Thanks to all in advance!!
