let me briefly explain the symptoms my TV has. I hope you could give me an advise.
One symptom is that the screen displays green and purple squares on the screen.
Another symptom is that it freezes for a few seconds and then re-starts (turns off and turns back on by itself). While it is frozen and re-starting, both remote controller and any buttons on the TV (including power button on TV) do NOT work. And, sometimes, it stays frozen for several minutes and I had to unplug the power cord to turn it off.

Do the squares also show up on the menu system? What about the picture in picture?
If you answer yes, then your DMD board is most likely the issue.
If you answer no, then your Digital Board is most likely the issue.
What is your TV's model number? I can see if I can direct you to the right place.
