Hi, I have a Samsung HLR 4667w, The picture went off so I replaced the bulb thinking that might be the problem but its not. when you turn the TV on the light turns on and is bright from the back, the fans turn on and there is a very dim light showing on the screen, no remote control, no menu display, no picture. I checked the color wheel and it spins up smoothly no noise. After researching this site 2 recommendations are made as to what the problem is: the Digital board or the DMD module within the light engine. some have said its the "Black screen of death" and the light engine is the problem and needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if its the digital board or the light engine?
Thanks, Bill

Re: HLR 4667wax no picture
It seems to be the DMD board, I'd go for that option.
The best "Do It Yourself" site for all types of Displays!

what we found out this issue is the digital board. the solder needs reflowed. this guy does it and charges $40 http://jdelectronicsinc.com/
