Ovadoggvo, or whoever else cares to give input,
I left a post February 21, 2009 - 09:53 pm on ecoustics forum about a HLR5667WAX that was shutting down intermittently, you suggested replacing the lamp and that took care of that problem!
I also mentioned an issue with the standard definition reception intermittently breaking up into thin green lines, you made some suggestions but I felt I didn’t post enough information at the time so I decided to re-post with more details.
I performed the following tests:
Antenna input:
Air, Analog – Faint picture with thin horizontal green lines in the foreground (see pics), and the menu appears normal.
Air, Digital – HD reception is almost normal except for ¾” faint green square blocks in the picture, most times they are green although I have seen purple from time to time. (see pic(s)), and the menu appears normal.
Air, Digital – Standard Definition - Faint picture with thin horizontal green lines in the foreground (see pics), and the menu appears normal.
Composite Video Input: Faint picture with thin green lines in the foreground (see pics), and the menu appears normal.
Component Video Input: 480i - Faint picture with thin horizontal green lines in the foreground (see pics), and the menu appears normal.
Component Video Input : 480p, 720p, 1080i – all normal pix, the menu appears normal.
HDMI input: 480p, 720p, 1080i – all normal, and the menu appears normal.
DDP1011 Test patterns: all normal
DNIe Test patterns: all normal. (although I didn’t see a full white screen during the image sequence like I did in the DDP1011
sequence)

Re: HLR5667 - Green horiz lines in standard defini
I should also mention that when the standard definition signal is normal (this is an intermittent problem), the HD image is also clear.

Joec999,
My best guess would be a defective digital board. Read the following post to read my explanation:

Also, I would check discount-merchant.com for the parts... They are the only ones that would have it at a decent price.
