Hey everyone.
I just joined because I am having issues with replacing a bulb on my TV. first time replacing it too. I did a lot of reading, searching and phoning and still cannot get a strait answer from anyone, even Samsung their parts supplier.
The TV I have is a HL-S5686W with a BP96-01472A lamp. currently 132w , however, the exact same part number has a 120-132w or 132-150w replacement.
I can find the 150w for a good price, but not the 132w. So, I am asking if I can replace the 120-132w with the 132-150w ?
Has anyone else ran into this before.
For the price, I am ready to buy the 150w and try it... as long as the supplier will return it if it does not work.

Re: Samsung BP96-01472A lamp watt difference 132or150
Both will work on your TV since they both cover the 132 Watt range, but I would recommend using the 132-150 since it allows for higher wattage.
