Hello,
Please help! I'm experiencing similar troubles to some posters but nothing exactly like what I am seeing.
There is no pattern to my set's issues.
At times when I turn on the set the picture looks too big for the set. I can only see about 1/3 of what should be there. Even when I go into the "Mute 1-8-2" mode I have to guess where I am in the list to get to user reset. Sometimes User reset works and the picture reduces in size, sometimes not.
I do not have a hi-def signal coming to the set, basic cable only. I do get an HD signal over a set of rabbit ears and the pic is fine.
At times I get a posterized picture: bright purple and blue solid colors that fill ionto the picture (not in blocks). Kind of like an old 16 bit vid card on a computer.
I do have a PS3 set up to the HDMI input; Blu-ray has no issues. Games however, sometimes show horizontal bands, about 3 inches tall, with vertical lines running through the bands. These bands also show up when watching regular TV.
When I hit the menu button to see if the bands effect that, they do not. But when I get the "posterization", the menu screen is affected.
Heard it could be digital board or DMD board. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Rob

Wow you do have issues!
It seems that you have more than one problem, however one thing is for sure, you need a new DMD board. Once you replaced it at least one of the symptoms you posted should disappear. I recommend you to do this and let us know how it goes.
HTH.

Alright. Thanks for the reply.
Before I try to replace anything I wanted to post some pics to show what the set does.
Again, it is totally random.
